Shakertins Announces 3rd Location at The Shops at Legacy
With successful locations in Allen and The Colony, Shakertins has found a loyal following of customers who appreciate its fun-loving atmosphere, friendly service, tasty drinks and fun bar food. Now, it’s bringing that tried-and-true concept to The Shops at Legacy North.
Shakertins is taking over the old Twisted Root space at the northeast corner of Legacy and the Dallas North Tollway. The 3,500-square-foot interior is complemented by an additional 1,000 square-foot patio, with dual garage doors creating a breezy indoor/outdoor feel. A separate space can accommodate 15-20 people for corporate meetings and private events—it’s wired for A/V presentations—and will function as a VIP lounge at night.

Abar-restaurant with a big following north of Dallas is opening a location in Plano. Shakertins, which already has locations in Allen and The Colony, will open a third location at The Shops at Legacy North, at 7300 Lone Star Dr. #C150, aka the former Twisted Root space at the northeast corner of Legacy and the Dallas North Tollway.
According to a release, it'll open on March 12.

Shakertins Opening at The Shops at Legacy
Shakertins, a restaurant and bar that has thrived in Allen and The Colony thanks to its craft cocktails, delicious bar food and fun ambiance, opens this week in Plano. The restaurant will be opening at The Shops at Legacy’s north side, taking over the space that once held Twisted Root.
“After being with the company the last few years, I have seen the Shakertins brand grow into a fun, neighborhood bar. And after they year we just had, we all need a little fun back in our lives,” said operating partner Neil Mawad. “We love taking care of our neighbors and industry friends, and we are excited to bring the party back to The Shops at Legacy North.”
